The Sensor Node For Schools is currently under development to enable affordable and effective monitoring of carbon dioxide concentrations as well as temperature and humidity in the class room environment. Protecting our children is our first priority.

WiFi and Sigfox

Sensor Node for Schools is equipped with both Low Power Wide Area Network an WiFi. Where ever you need to connect it, it’s good to go.

Studies conducted by the University of Otago have shown that indoor air pollution is a serious problem in New Zealand schools.


VOC and Particulates

Sensor Node for Schools features optional state of the art VOC and particulate matter sensing technologies.


Alert notifications

The Sensor Node for Schools can be programmed to emit a visual alert, as well as pushing an alert to cloud.


Micro USB

Unlike the other Sensor Node devices, it takes a bit more power to monitor CO2 and particulates. So we use a standard 5V USB input. A phone charger will do just fine!


An Educational Tool

As well as monitoring the environmental conditions, the Sensor Node for Schools has the potential to be used as a teaching tool. It can be configured as a stand alone web server, allowing students to connect, explore and learn.
