The Monkeytronics STORY

In New Zealand we have an epidemic of cold, damp and leaky homes. Every year tens of thousands of New Zealanders are admitted to hospital because of poor quality housing.

In 2018, Monkeytronics was founded by Al Brennan to try and combat this problem using technology that is simple and cost effective. In collaboration with He Kainga Oranga, we developed Sensor Node as a way to let families, research groups and housing authorities know if their homes are making them sick. We want to help keep children out of hospital and make New Zealand families healthier and happier.

Monkeytronics is a social enterprise based in Wellington, New Zealand, one of the most beautiful places in the world. We do what we do because we love it!
